Without the Friends of Stiftung Buchkunst, who have been supporting the work of the foundation since 1994, many of our activities would not be possible. Behind the scenes, all of these friends make a vital contribution to enabling Stiftung Buchkunst to move the beautiful book into focus again and again.
The friends of the foundation include not only important German publishers, but also companies from other sectors of the economy, as well as private individuals committed to the cause of the beautiful book.
The friends of the foundation would like to increase their contributions to Stiftung Buchkunst, especially in light of scarce public funds, and would therefore like to recruit additional members.

support for cultural work
As a member of Freundeskreises der Stiftung Buchkunst e.V., you support the work of the foundation through your idealistic attachment, your annual contribution or through tax- deductible donations.
You promote dialogue on book design topics in a regional, national and international context and provide important support for the long-standing cultivation of the cultural asset "book design".
your benefits as a member
You will receive tickets to the international book fairs in Frankfurt and Leipzig.
You will receive the annual catalogs "The Best German Book" and "Best Book Design from all over the World" published by Stiftung Buchkunst free of charge.
You will receive invitations to our award ceremony, our exhibition openings, and to events of the foundation at the book fairs in Frankfurt am Main and Leipzig.
In recognition of your special commitment as a supporting company or as a supporting member for the cultural work of Stiftung Buchkunst, you/your company will be honored by being named in the catalog "The Best German Book".
your declaration of membership
You can choose among three memberships:
Supporting corporate membership (1.100€ p.a.)
Supporting individual member (260€ p.a.)
Member (75€ p.a.)
The association is entitled by the non-profit recognition to issue donation receipts for the paid membership fees.
Your contribution will be collected by direct debit.
